Konami makes MGS, not Sony. If you can't even look that up, how can you really know how much Nintendo supposedly rehashes?

And I don't even think you're applying rehash right. You're likely just equating that with IP.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Okay, I need you to do me a favor. I need you to actually play some of the games you're criticizing before you criticize them. It's radical, I know, but had you done so you may have realized that Mario, Metroid, Zelda et. al. don't play anywhere near the same as they did 20 years ago. Let us contrast the change between, say, Super Mario World and Super Mario Galaxy with the differences between Halo and Halo 3, for instance, or Grand Turismo and Grand Turismo (4? 5? Whichever number we're on now).

Which one has changed more?

this one actually makes sense...unlike the sequels from Nintendo..the sequels from MOST 3d parties feel more like REMAKES than SEQUELS...keep it in mind.. CoD1-4 and MoH series are pretty much the same..don't come telling me this is better than that..base gameplay is EXACTLY the same.. can't say that for Portal compares to Half-Life 2...hehe...
