Approx. 7 out of the 27 teams are working. Well, the rest may be working but we got no idea on what. So we can expect some more announcements soon (?), since it's impossible that so many teams are there doing nothing. This means that there will be many more Nintendo games added to the Wii and DS line up soon enough.

Brownie Brown just finished Blue Dragon+, and Skip just concluded Captain Rainbow, so count them out.

And are you positive that Wii Music, Wii Sports Resort, and Animal Crossing are all being done by the same team? If so, how many people are they using from the other teams (they often cross-pollinate within EAD)?

Edit: Also, Camelot isn't owned or operated by Nintendo. They have a very strong relationship, but Camelot remains independent.

Game Freak is exclusively Pokemon, so they're definitely working on that, and R&D is more hardware than software oriented nowadays (the DSi is probably them, along with whatever the next console).

@noname2200: Camelot is 2nd party as far as I know.
And yes, EAD 2 is working on 3 Wii games.

As for Skip (who have just finished ART Style: ORBIENT) and Brownie Brown, who says they are always working on only 1 title at a time? Skip was working on 2. It's obvious that they are always in stages of planning, making prototypes or developing parallely more games. No team is making nothing, that would be a loss of money.

R&D 1 and R&D 2 don't exist anymore. They splitted and made EAD and other members went to other teams.

Huh, I never knew. Learn something new every day, I guess.

Nothing's to say that they're not working on something, but since they just released a game the chances of their next project being far enough to not be cancelled/merged probably isn't high enough to make it worth counting yet.

As to the rest, it looks like I'm way behind on my Nintendo staffing. I'll have to look into it more later.

Of course all of these teams are busy. Nintendo will have a great 2009.

Well I'm positive Game Freaks might be working on localizing Pokemon Plat for US and Europe, unless they don't do the localization.
