Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Oboro Muramasa Slips to '09

Weekly Famitsu magazine reported this week that Oboro Muramasa, the latest title from the makers of the lovely-looking Odin Sphere, has been delayed to 2009. The Wii-exclusive game, published by Marvelous Interactive in Japan and XSEED Games in US (under the name Muramasa: The Demon Blade), will now hit worldwide next year. (Unless you live somewhere besides the US and Japan. Wait, you mean there's more to the world besides the US and Japan? Unthinkable!)

Best described as Odin Sphere with an olde-tyme Japan graphic set attached to it, Muramasa is a side-scrolling action RPG starring amnesiac ninja Kisuke and demon-possessed princess Momohime as they take out the demonic-monster trash across the Japanese island of Honshu. Expect fast action, meticulously-drawn visuals, and a lot of anime nerds buying Wiis in the next few months in anticipation.
