Woah! That's not widescreen, that's like 10:3 not 16:9! But yeah I agree, on one ofour PCs we have a screen that displays at 1600x1000, and so it's kinda annoying when it doesn't use up all the screen. Especially, as I think most forums use the whole screen size. Even on my smallish 1280x1024resolution, I still lose a fair bit of the screen :/

btw, I noticed that only after ioi changed the site design did a loda people actually ask for bits to be changed :P

He has opened Pandora's box of suggestions. Kind of like when Dolla asked for an addition to the weekly American Sales. Expect the 'asking/demanding' to stop by Friday.

Two things:

Please make the background white again. The light blue color clashes with a bunch of stuff on the site.

Please remove the "Last Poster" option that displays the name of the last poster on a thread in red. 

All of this is a matter of color scheme. The abundance of colors -- especially whe combined with advertisements -- makes the page look overloaded with information. A bit like one of those "link to" junk sites that does nothing but link to a million different other sites.  

The site now looks full of Google ads.

Obviously you've been reading minds. Anyway, it looks like the "last message" is buggy. It's not picking up the name of the last person who posted.

I agree with this. It does seem that the different colors make the site seem like a "gateway" to other sites, which does detract from the feel. I would suggest changing the red text.
