This is Epic.....Great job 360, I knew you could do it, even with all the doubters!

PS3 is a great console and has a great line-up. They will be fine, but it will be hard pressed to match or pass 360 this holiday!

Wii is King!

I've got news for you. When you never write anything worth reading, people don't remember the stuff you do write. There might as well be a Sony playbook posted on the front page, as that would eliminate the need for 60 percent of the posters on this forum.

Don't go personally insulting me just because the PS3 had a bad week in sales. Stop diverting your anger towards me and go troll a Gears 2 topic or something.

The shares are at a 5 year low already, I don't think the shareholders can take much more.

I think that they'll be quite happy when the quarterly numbers come out.  Holding steady on their price, and selling less PS3 systems, less MGS4 bundles, and more software will definitely make it look nice.

Seriously, the Xbox360 numbers are not so impressvie considering the price and even the PS3 numbers are not so low.

(even if I push it on "late october" because I dont expected Europe price cut).

So, what you're saying is that the 360's numbers really suck this week, and the Playstation 3's epic sales are just waiting in the wings for the right time to pounce?

This sales doesn't mean a lot if the X360 numbers drop back again below 60k a week in less than a month.   This week is good for X360 now wait what the numbers will be the weeks that come.

By the way, looking at past week numbers

we can see we are only in the first real week of the price cut (check the massive jump this week), I thought we were in the 2nd second week. Maybe the price cut did not happened in all the place at the same time.

Now let's check the effect of the first price cut :
