I think this is a good thing. Sony has to drop their prices now. They are getting their ass kicked in all three markets now. By the way, if MS numbers destroyed the PS3, what did the wii numbers do?

You Sony guys, remember when I said that we wouldn't know if the price cut worked until we saw consistancy in sales over a few months?

october will be interesting! i really don't want sony to cut their price now as i think it will hurt them in the long run. but it may be the only saving option right now lol.

Europe is pretty stable, i wonder what numbers are going to show up in NA, the numbers are quite.....frantic atm. Wonder how SW:TFU did in it's second week.

I'm shocked at the PS3 numbers in others, but it looks worse than it is because of the boost to the 360 numbers. Sony has a strong line-up of software releases coming up to the holiday period (as strong as any of the big 3) so I can't see them panicking and cutting the price after one comparatively poor week of sales in Others.

Anyway, props to Microsoft. Hopefully this boost can be maintained. Whenever some people on the forum were saying that the price cut would have limited effect, wasn't it kowenicki that said Microsoft's strategy was to be well placed for the Xmas run-up?

Ms BS about double the ps3 2:1 in UK was real after all.

360 was over 21 millions the last week, why is under on this one?? Where was adjusted?
