Combining the support of all platforms is unfair -- and in this case, only emphasizes just how weak the PS3 is, at it's seen no new exclusive announcements from third parties for almost 4 months. |
This is ridiculous. So your claim that the Wii is getting the most 3rd party support is that it's getting exclusives that would not be on the other 2 consoles because they are either totally based around motion or the graphics would be laugable on the other two consoles.
What do you rate 3rd party support on? Any game announced or actually worthwhile games announced? It's really telling that Nitrobikes or whatever is a big exclusive for Wii while on the other two that would be a budget title with online play.
If you consider getting Soul Calibur Legends better than getting Soul Calibur IV, the actual game because it's exclusive then we totally disagree. If I had a PS3 or 360 alone, what game would I want? The spinoff budget game or the actual sequel in the series? Same applies for Resident Evil series.
Wii is still getting the casual and spinoff focus from the big 3rd parties for the most part. More game like Zack and Wiki and other original Wii titles that aren't ports from PSP, PS2 or DS and that aren't spinoff of the actual game on other consoles are the kinds of games I consider real 3rd party support when they are investing time, money and ideas to the console.
