Forums - Nintendo Discussion - I blame Wii Music: Just for Neos

For some real discussion: Has anyone sat down and watched a group of two to four five-year old kids play/interact? What do they do? My niece when she was five couldn't play Wii Sports except boxing (which she demolished everyone at) and cannot play Mario Kart at any competitive level (but she still likes playing Mario Kart, how odd). I asked her why she like to play Mario Kart and she said "it's fun". Same thing with boxing, she likes it because it's fun.

Without trying out Wii Music I do personally really wonder what kind of experience I'm going to get from it. I'm also wondering what my now six-year old niece will get from it. If kids like it, the 5-9 year old group, this will be fantastic. It will make babysitting so much easier. I can already see them making their own game with their own rules within the toy (Wii Music). I think they may use the toy to play a game. What a novelty.

I guess Downward Spiral is a Nine Inch Nails song?

That would be hilarious unlocking something like that on Wii Music.

LOL, awesome xD

It would be funnier if you unlocked Angel Of Death by Slayer or something. Oh and Wii Music still tastes like a rice cake but with even less taste.

Funny thing is, I like rice cakes, even on their own.

You're a sick individual. Rice cakes taste like nothing.

I feel offended by this game's existence.

You said the same thing about SSBB and Wii Fit.

It's becoming more obvious that kids are going to use this toy to make their own games.

I bought Jam Sessions and use it to play songs (yes, I'm that dorky). When we have our VGChartz get together I WILL play and sing along to "Live Forever" by Oasis for whoever wants to see me make a fool of myself. If you know the song I'll invite you to sing along.

Have you gotten this yet?

I want to get some quality time in with my PS3 since it's going to spontaneously combust when Wii Music launches.

Have you gotten this yet? KORG - 10

Not yet.

It is number one on the to get list. I wish it would get released in NA so I didn't have to import it.
