PS2 port or not, I'm looking forward to the Wii control for Rygar on Wii. :) Just like RE4

Currently loving my Wii x2, Xbox 360 Pro & Xbox 360 Arcade, and Final Fantasy 7 Advent Children Limited "Cloud Black" 160GB PS3

GAMEFLY & GOOZEX FTW

Well, looks like who ever said this is a PS2 port have been debunked.

If thats' the case then Tecmo have debunked their own game lol

Thanks to Blacksaber for the sig!

Yes Famitsu said it was going to be an upgrade port of the PS2 game. I'll have to look for the link. Also Ck, Tretton debunked the PS3 price cut but you and others still insist that it exists.

It is a PS2 port unfortunately...

It's unfortunate that this is a PS2 port, but I think it makes sense from Tecmo's standpoint. Their testing the Wii waters with a true Tecmo-style game(as opposed to Pangya Golf) to see if there is interest. It makes sense also to bring Rygar to the system. When I thought of classic franchises that could benfit from a jump to the Wii, Rygar and Castlevania immediately jumped to mind.

Then there is the fact that they obviously spent a decent amount of cash making this game years ago only to have it bomb. They might actually turn a profit on the game even if it only sells about what the PS2 version sold here in America.

This also saves me from having to track down the PS2 version, which I've been looking for lately. Even if I did find the PS2 version, my PS2 is broke, so I'd be kinda screwed until the PS2 get another price drop or the PS3 falls into my range and gets their library up to snuff(assuming they have the emulation for the game, of course).

This is the part where I say "Who cares? Looks like a cool game."

Granted, if I knew this was out on the PS2 (I guess I was oblivious to it) I would have bought it then.

Though that wouldn't necessarily keep me from buying it a second time (I bought VC Sim City one day, while staring at the SNES cart, inside my SNES, five feet away from me. That was a silly decision)

Okay, I stand corrected, my bad.

Edit: Although they did redesign almost all contents of the game...

I am a PC gamer, and also have a NDS now, but without access to a Nintendo Wii until End of 2007.

Currently playing: Super Smash Brothers Brawl(Wii), Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer(DS), Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime (DS), WiiFit(Wii)

Games Recently Beaten: Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King (Normal; Very Hard after the next DLCs become available)

1 word: RTFA

Well, I did enjoy the PS2 game, so despite it being an upgraded port I'll consider getting it. It's very "wait and see" though and I'm disappointed to see so little graphical improvement.

atleast we know no which big japanse developer will only support the wii with budget stuff or kiddy as they called it. If I stand correct.
super pangya golf 1 and 2 and Project rygar being a ps2 port with some bit more.
