Forums - General Discussion - Can someone tell me what song this is? (Sweedish?)

http://www.leekspin.com/

I'm told that it is Swedish. Can anyone identify the song and/or what is being said?

The song is Ievan polkka by Loituma. The flash is apparently called Loituma girl.

Loituma is a Finnish band that sings traditional Finnish songs with such a strong dialect that I can barely understand the lyrics. The part in the flash total gibberish though, and parts of it sound more like Swedish than Finnish.

Here's a live performance.

Edit: Oh, apparently it's in my native dialect. Well I suppose that explains why I understand anything of it. =P

Awesome. Thank you very much.

Oh and btw, the language of my beloved neighbours is called Swedish with one e. The Swedes live in Sweden, and are not the same people as the Swiss who live in Switzerland. =P

The girl is Inoue Orohime from Bleach if you are interested.

As Parokki is saying Swedish not Sweedish.

Other than that I think it is finnnish, but who knows. Some finnish people (like 40%) speaks Swedish but it almost impossible sometimes to understand what they say. (not as bad as when the people in Skåne pretends that they are from Sweden)

Buy it and pray to the gods of Sigs: Naznatips!

If you're in minor internet phenomena, this song is better..kinda disturbing though.
