It's feasible for Gears to close to double it's sales from the last outing... I think that was around 3 million by the end of 06... so it's possible that it could see 5-6 million copies sold by the end of this year.

So, with this logic Halo sold millions because it was bundled.  I do beleave Motorstorm and Resistance out sold any of the 360's launch titles.  There is a reason M$, Sony and ninty put good games in bundles, it's to sell consoles.  The fact that the game is available in a bundle is a testimate to its ability to sell.

Anyway, this will be a close battle between the two.  I can't wait.

I dont think Halo was bundled and Motorstorm and Resistance did well cause it was bundled. What kind of dumb comment is that KJJ? Sony bundled them cause its first party and they wouldnt have had to pay royalties for them like they had to with MGS 4. Xbox 360 hasnt had to rely on such massive bundling or giving away 5 free movies, or giving away all their biggest games away for free like they are also doing immediately with little big planet.

If MS did use the Sony stratigy they would be bundling all their big games with the console in a special ed. version that was no different except for the packaging.

No way in hell Gears outsells Resistance 2:1. Resistance 2 will outsell Gears 2 in Europe, and Resistance 2 will be closer in NA than it was last time.
