That feature has been around like a year now.

On ps4 its real deletion. On ps3 it will always be in your collection but online you won´t see it. For instence you don´t see it on trophy sites.

I've been able to rack up a couple of trophies in the last days, including the plat to This War of Mine: The Little Ones.

Pretty good game, I picked it up discounted from the Summer Sale. Maybe it still is, you should give it a shot.
