Too Human: 280,000 units sold worldwide
Haze: 410,000 units sold worldwide
Lair: 350,000 units sold worldwide

I don't even understand why Lair is included with this discussion. All games in general had mediocre sales at the beginning. Meaning they had somewhat average sales for not-so-great reviews. Considering their production cost, we expected those games to sale roughly a lot of units and also do somewhat good because all of those games had hype and considering they had soooo much development time. We expected a top tier games. Well we got mediocre games according to the sales figures and fans.

I don't understand the bitching about these games. They flopped hard considering these factors again:

Hype
Production costs
Extended Development time

Factoring in all those, you get flops.

Because if we're going to create threads about the biggest flops this generation then all big Flops should be included. Why ignore Lair? Lair fits your profile that you just listed, it was delayed, it had a high production cost, it was hyped and it performed badly.

Okay...so why the hell do you keep ignoring Too Human as not being hyped, production costs were high and that game had some extended developement time. Now that game is a flop. So stop denying it. Also we Sony users (I own a PS3), know that Lair and Haze was a flop so why make a pointless thread and we know that. We just wanted you serious Xbox 360 users to know that Too Human was all those factors combined and it was overrated but soon flopped to everything. So accept it and move on.

Lair and Haze being flops are sooooo old news, bra.

I played both Haze and Too Human. They both sucked so bad that I returned them to the store after less than a hours worth of play. 10 mins in the case of Haze.

Tease.

Haze- the demo, and I loved it!!

Too Human- haven't touched the demo or played it, but after watching someone play it. I was bought on into playing it myself

Lair- haven't touched that game, simply because of the control scheme. But I want to own it and play it when I get the chance.

Flop= game that is meant to be a AAA game title but fails hard.

Hard to believe...do you mind me asking you for your PSN ID?

@ Squilliam

That's an average for games, not a specific number for each game. Using that, Lair was only a 7 million dollar game seeing as that it was first generation.

@ disolitude

I played Haze and Too Human. Both sucked equally.

While I don't know about Haze. Once Too Human gets firing on all cylinders(about 2 hours in), its as good as any hack and slash you'll ever play. You can't jsut push start, play for an hour and then declare to the world it sucks...

Just cause I think Lair (and Haze) where bigger flops doesn't mean I don't think Too Human was itself a flop. I played Too Human for 2 hours before I returned it, chek my profile, I have the first couple achievements and then nothing.

@ Old news comment - Just trying to cure a bit of SSMS for these Flop threads.
