Also look at this graph. http://www.vgchartz.com/swlaunch.php?reg1=All&game1=Haze+-+PS3®2=All&game2=Too+Human+-+X360®3=All&game3=&weeks=5

Too Human and Haze are charting exactly the same.

Yes, Too Human, on the console with the larger install base, Yes, Too Human with the higher Metacritic, is charting the same as a "flop". So if you're going to call a game with a lower metacritic on a console with a smaller install base a flop, the Too Human is even more of a flop.

I haven't denied that Too Human is a flop, I even stated in the OP that it should be Too Human vs. Sony's #1 flop.

Lairs Budget I think was $20,000,000 according to a team size comparison thats floating around I think. Very much not sure.

Tease.

Also, Lair didn't "perform so badly that we couldn't get Euro numbers".

Lots of games don't have Others numbers.

Linky?

You shouldn't post numbers without links, even if you aren't sure.

Cause if you're not sure, why post them?

Lair was more hyped than Haze, infact i remember all PS3 fanboys saying how great Lair was and how it was only  possible on blue ray and thanks to teh Cell processor and blah blah,as Haze was just another shooter.

So id say Liar = epic failure.

Too Human: 280,000 units sold worldwide
Haze: 410,000 units sold worldwide
Lair: 350,000 units sold worldwide

I don't even understand why Lair is included with this discussion. All games in general had mediocre sales at the beginning. Meaning they had somewhat average sales for not-so-great reviews. Considering their production cost, we expected those games to sale roughly a lot of units and also do somewhat good because all of those games had hype and considering they had soooo much development time. We expected a top tier games. Well we got mediocre games according to the sales figures and fans.

I don't understand the bitching about these games. They flopped hard considering these factors again:

Hype
Production costs
Extended Development time

Factoring in all those, you get flops.

Because if we're going to create threads about the biggest flops this generation then all big Flops should be included. Why ignore Lair? Lair fits your profile that you just listed, it was delayed, it had a high production cost, it was hyped and it performed badly.

According to my sales that I presented. Lair and Haze did pretty awesome and Too Human is too. It's just people must not understand what is a flop.

A flop game is when the game is in development for a long time, has high production values and presents low sales data and also doesn't get well reviews from the critics.

That's a flop. Too Human was all of those combined but it did get mixed reviews and the sales figures prove that.
