Forums - Microsoft Discussion - All 11.6 million Xbox 360s are faulty

"MICROSOFT HAS admitted that all the 11.6 million Xbox 360s sold in the last 19 months are faulty.

In a statement, Volish spinsters said that all of the consoles suffer from a design flaw which could cause the machine to fail.

However, the outfit said that while it is extending the warranty coverage from one to three years to compensate consumers, it had no plans to recall or exchange the boxes.

Volish gaming supremo Robbie Bach refused to say what the problem is, but said that units currently in stock will be upgraded.

More here. µ"

Is he talking about the disc drive eating the disc if its jostled? How long did it f*cking take them to figure that out?

Edit: Fixed F'bomb Michael Bay Style

An article with that wording can hardly be taken seriously.

You're bringing up the the Inquirer, man... that's even worse than the Register. Need I say anything else?

Reality has a Nintendo bias.

I'm on Xbox number 2. It's scary really cause I haven't played it in like 2 and a half months. Waiting for Bioshock and Mass Effect. But it will most likely eat my 2 discs like it ate my Gears of War disc. I have an extended warranty though so I'm hoping when I get it replaced next time I get one of those fancy ones that don't eat discs. That said does anyone here think that the Wii has already passed the 360 in worldwide sales. Aren't the number of returned 360's like 20%. Perhaps Microsoft doesn't use shipped numbers and I am wrong.

Um did Gballzack just drop an F-bomb. She must be having a bad day.
