People are way oversestimating the first week on this, the same as they did on MGS4, GTA 4, GT5 p, Halo 3 and SSBB, I expect about 1.3-1.5 million at most day one, 2 million week one and 4 million by the end of 08. Oh, and it will be the best selling 360 game this holiday

1st Month = 2.5 Mil
End of Year = 4 Mil

I doubt that the sequel will get that kind of tie in rate, but if it did you'd get about 4 million in the same time period... it could happen.

USA:1 million in a year
Japan:300k in a year
Europe:1.1mil in a year

It won't sell as well as the first one.

I think it'll blow the first one out the water by at least a mil... and Europe selling more than the US? That's just crazy.
