So, you didn't get past the first dungeon or something? ;)

 I eventually managed to suffer through the level only to be punished with the Goron Mask as my "reward." Then you get the Zora Mask and get to have some fun until you have to endure the god awful water temple. Everytime I beat a level I had to take a 6 motnh to a year break so I could forget the horror I had to endure.

@Makingmusic
Don't you have some user reports to take care of?

Nah, don't diss man. He did actually play Brain Age Mega Man X (which is still considered the easiest MM of them all, but meh...).

Actually, nah, make it Metal Slug Anthology. That's some hardcore shit right there! xD

Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

 Hard? No. I am a huge Treasure fanboy. I fall in love with games that punish you for not playing perfectly somehow. Spend a half an hour with Bangai-O or Ikaruga and you will redefine what you consider hard. The problem with levels in Majora's Mask was they just sucked.

The only reason I didn't like MM because it use to scare the hell out of me when I was young

O sorry. I just assumed that's what you meant :P

(read as) Be more specific. I'm intrested in what other people think, but your statement was too vague and left its intrepretation to what the reader assumed. ;)

Majora's Mask does rank pretty darn high up there. The only storyline that I've come close to enjoying as much is Twilight Princess, and the controls in Twilight Princess are of course far better, but the replay value is so much higher in Majora's Mask.

Link to the Past, Minish Cap, Ocarina of Time and Twilight Princess are all jockeying for 2nd place.

Link to the Past pretty much established every modern Zelda convention; such as the traps, secret doors, switches, moving statues, having some sort of doubled overworld (time in OoT, twilight realm in TP, size in minish cap, season/era in oracle of seasons/ages, etc) and the items being used to gain access to the next levels, etc. It was also the first to add depth to the overhead viewpoint that made the game feel like it was 3d.

Ocarina of Time laid the groundwork for the entire control style for the 3d versions, as well as establishing many of the characters and different races that would be used through many other games (epona, malon, the cuckoo lady, the goron and zora tribes, the gerudo, etc) without this, Majora's Mask would never have been as meaningful. Because you already knew these characters, the emotional involvement you had with them was much greater than what it would have been if everyone had simply been the complete strangers that they should have been.

Minish Cap was simply an incredibly polished Link to the Past. Instead of having a light and Dark world, it used a Big and Little world. While the friendship tokens were annoying at first, I eventually came to enjoy the numerous secrets that were hidden throughout the game.

Twilight Princess had one of the most well paced and streamline stories. It was incredibly enjoyable to follow and because of how I was following it, I never realized how linear the game was through the entire thing. I had to start playing again in order to notice. Midna is the best companion Link has EVER had. She far surpassed Enzo, from minish cap, who takes strong second place way ahead of the likes of Navi, Tingle and Tatl. Of course, Twilight Princess's shining glory lies in its controls, which makes going back to any of the non-Wii zelda games almost painful. Only flaw I've ever found with the game is it's a little too easy and just a little too linear which severely hampers its replay value.

Majora's Mask shines on the pure depth of emotion that is crammed into every single minute of the game. The time constraint was a bit of a nuisance until I learned that you could slow down time. Once I learned how to control time, it was beautiful. The people felt REAL. They had things they did and didn't just stay in one place for eternity. I will never forget the Goron and Zora masks, how the people who knew them would react to you, never realizing that you aren't that person they care so deeply for. The Deku scrub was just as bad, but far more subtle. When I replay it, I still make it a point to help out Romani with her milk delivery any time I have the chance to, simply for the hug reward.

Seppukuties is like LBP Lite, on crack. Play it already!
