Dude you have just committed an abomination.  Resident Evil 4 is one of the greatest games ever made and I cannot believe you have questioned its quality.  How could you do this?  How?  Please explain!!!! How?????!!!!

I was loving shooting everything the first time I played the game. It made it a hell of a lot of fun.

Wow, the Village seen was awesome. I died the first time as well but it wasn't the games fault. I went into the house with the shotgun and I was picking off Ganados. I heard the chainsaw revving up. A ganado broke through the window so I start shooting when I turned to see where the chainsaw noise was coming from he was right up on me and he cut my head clean off. One of coolest moments in the game for me even though I died. The second time I played it, I was ready for him and I took him down. On the third play through I just put my back against the wall near the entrance and picked off all the ganados until the bell rang.

 Exactly.  I am quite suprised to read this and I have played through the game about 20 times (10 on Gamecube, 10 on Wii)

as a resident evil game, yes it sux bad.
but a video game its a really a good game but my favorite part was a the village

here is the thing, the game leads you into the building by placing a nice shotgun on the wall, if you decide to not go there you just have to survive and kill, one shot in the leg kick to the face, repeat

if you have the wii version its even easier

on teh first play thru get the SMG, it holds tons of ammo and makes le shot head kick very easy to do

and once you beat it save up and get the Chicago Type, greatest gun ever

The easy way to do this scene is to get a couple of weapons, especially the explosives. Then get detected and run back to the gate you came into the village from. If you fight them from this narrow path, they can only come 2 at a time. Wait until theres a swarm of them together and nuke them with the grenade/explosives. Wii version much easier for one shot kills too, so snipe em before they get in attacking range.

It was by far one of the hardest parts of the game thus far. After I beat Zelda, Im going back and finishing this game.

In the 80's, there was a shitty movie called Gymkata. There was a scene where the main character was in a town full of canibals, and everone in the city wanted a bite of his ass. The scene was horrifying and hopeless, and the sole reason I remember that otherwise forgettable film. RE4's beginning let me live that scene. Do anything you can to survive that hopeless situation. Barricade doors. Climb ladders, towers, and roof tops. Run! No hope, because nothing can stop your resourceful enemies.

I was a great adrenaline rush, and in my opinion, flawlessly done. It really set the mood. Combined with the scene where Luis, Ashley, and Leon are barricaded in the cabin, you just convinced me to replay the game again!
