Forums - Gaming Discussion - Resident Evil 4 Sucks.

I think that the Wii version gives you less ammo from the zombies that you kill,I'm not too sure though, but that's how it was for me.
Also the knife is good for destroying the boxes and barrels.

So, basically, I ended up making the entire thing much harder than it needed to be.

Screw you, chainsaw dudes... screw you.

Where are these chainsaw dudes? South gate or east gate? Btw, you enter the village through the west gate.

Killing one gives you 10k Peseta which is actually a big flaw in the game. In the year 2004 the currency of Spain was Euro.

I'll admit it. I was confused when I went to change my dollars into local currency in Seville, and the teller gave me these bills rather than piles of gold coins or jewels.

Confused, and disappointed.

Oh, and GarcianSmith? I like you dude. You're cool.

But always know that I'm

...and if you ever say another bad thing about Resident Evil 4, I WILL find you...

and give you a very mean look that will make you cry.

My point is that even in a survival horror game there should be a point A. and a point B. and a somewhat logical way to get from one to the other... doing random stuff that triggers other ramdom stuff is just frustrating because is forces you to randomly try all options without logic until you get lucky... thats what the OP experienced and what scared me away from the game when I first played it...

Exploring the village and killing the Ganado along the way is not 'random stuff,' it's what a gamer should have done instinctively.  I probably died a few times and I was fine with that. I never went far enough to say that the game had poor game design. I can't believe the OP took that long to figure out what to do....dying that many times simply means suckage.

Don't take anything personally, of course. You'll get used to the game, and it will get even better. Still, I completely disgree with the OP. The village area was the most memorable to me in RE4....I wish I could go through it again for the first time.

Song 10 4 player(s) 0 player(s) 7 player(s) 0 player(s) 5 player(s)

Highlights:

Song 1: Everyone who guess Zelda II's song title got it right or close enough to be right

Song 2: Mario Bros. 3 song has too many names. But I gave a half point to those who said overworld and level 1-2. But if you said ground theme, you can add 0.5 pts as well. Will need to do further research of Mario Bros. levels before using them.

Song 6: In the beginning, very few people knew song 6 was Ducktales. But as more players entered, almost everyone got the song's game and title correct!

Song 7: I purposely chose the ending part of Metroid - Kraid's lair theme to see if it will trick anyone. And it seemed like it did! It still has pretty even score distribution at 0, 1, and 2 pts.

Song 8: Congrats to Prof and IvorEvilen for getting the game and/or song title right!

Song 9: Wizard and Warrior I was actually composed by David Wise! Looks like only one of you guys may have known this though!

Song 10: Mother shares similar score with Metroid at 0 pts, 1 pt, and 2 pts. In fact, they are actually the same distribution!

Reflection: I apologize for the rough start! The first three players sort of acted like the guinea pigs of this round. But I will use this experience to make the next game more efficient. So thank you MZuzek, Hiku, and Spemanig for being the first three participants!

I'm also considering to private message scores in the next game. This way future players may not potentially steal answers when they see a high score. The good news is everyone's prediction in this thread was unique!

The next game probably won't be ready until next Friday. No promises though. If I have not made one then, feel free to do one yourself!

Thanks again everyone for playing!

Activision-Blizzard's Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft is a successful TCG for Mobile and PC devices.

Hearthstone seems to be a pretty popular and successful game for PC and mobile devices and the fans seem to enjoy it as well. In fact it has generated nearly one billion US dollars for the company [together with Destiny]  and has 30 million userbase since it release in 2014. Should Nintendo take note of this and make a Smash Bro trading card game as one of their first Mobile game with DeNA?

Nintendo has experience with trading cards with the Pokemon TCG so this shouldn't be a new territory for them. Also, they used to be a trading card company themselves when they made Hafunda cards!

Nintendo's 1889 Hafunda Cards!                                       Pokemon Cards!

So should a Smash Bros TCG game be one of their first mobile games they should work on? The characters are well known and Nintendo has experience!

Super Smash Bros. Melee Battle Cards!

They seem to have made one for Melee! Imagine having Smash Bros Amiibo booster packs too! The profits off this game could be enormous!

For me the 30th time was as enjoyable as the first .

I understand that the beginning of the game can be confusing if you aren't greedy as me and kill everyone without thinking twice, but after the village scene it should be clear that you are supposed to kill pretty much everything you can, because it's a good way to get money which you need to upgrade your weapons. Also, the ammo is plenty in this game, just don't start to think that you have to use the knife to save ammo. The game adapts to your playing style, so if you solve all your problems with guns instead of the knife, you get more ammo from the enemies.

The knife is not a bad things though.  I love it, things like the Krauser fight where you pretty much have to go with the knife are some of my favorite parts.  I love swinging the wii-mote as your knife fighting.

The knife definitely comes in handy when you fight Krauser. But I have heard from some people that they were always low on ammo even though they used the knife a lot. Well, that was their problem. Not using a lot of ammo greatly reduces how much ammo you receive from enemies.

Of course when I say use ammo, I mean to actually hit the enemies. Firing bullets in the air won't do you any good.

Interesting, I did not realize that.  There were a few times early on I was a bit tight on ammo.  I may have been a victim of that as early in the game was also when I was being more conservatitve with ammo.

Watch gameplay of RE5 much?

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

"Ok, girl's trapped in the elevator, and the power's off.  I swear, if a zombie comes around the next corner..."

So from all these posts so far, apparently the game is nowhere near the same experience for everyone as I thought it would be. I did exactly what hsrob did the first time. Went in there like john Wayne, ran outta ammo and died. Second time thought I holed them all up at the entrance. No special cut-scenes no nothing. In fact my first meeting with the chainsaw was much much later, In the leader's house after Ada is first noticed.

On the other hand I never really figured out how to kill the garridors up until the very last encounter with them. Just shot at them randomly until they died, turns out it was much easier than that.
