Stock is expensive... and comes in 100-pack if I remember correctly ;)

It depends if you're buying the real Nintendo stock from Japan or the NTDOY ADR from pinksheets. The ADR can be purchased at any quantity from an American broker and represents 1/8 of a 7974 Nintendo share.
You need a lot of money to make play the stock market. I can resell Wii's here in Alberta for 500 dollars come Christmas time. No joke. People have money to burn in this province. They eat out all the time cause they don't know how to cook and they resemble the Michelin Man. We are also the only province without a provincial sales tax. Oil, oil, oil. So yes I am confident that Wii's will be a much sought after product in December. Seriously though, they are still hard to come by here.
Am I the only who thinks any game can be "hardcore"? I mean, pac-man back in the days may be considered one of the most casual games of all time with it's simplistic gameplay. But I see tournaments held every once in a while on this game and there are many hardcore pac-man players despite it's casual gameplay. But I guess to some people "hardcore" only means hijacking cars, blowing heads off, or playing in a WWII environment. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind playing a shooter every once a while, heck I still play Counter-Strike despite it being released about 10 years.
But as others have said, Nintendo's core games have never been like Sony's or MS's. Their core games are the Marios, Metroids, F-zeros, Donkey Kongs, Smash bros., or the Pikmins. Nintendo is developing sequels to all their core games that were on the Gamecube, so how is it there aren't giving the core gamer what they want? All they are doing is creating more expanded audience games and the only reason we see more of them is because they take A LOT less time to develop. And has Nintendo ever had 3 big games released with 4 months in a year? I know i'll be happy by the end of year :)
Yeah, but you're actually doing work for that money. All that buying and reselling takes time. Plus you assume some risk of fraud.
To buy stock, all you have to do is click with the mouse
Oh yeah, well, Nintendo is a stoopid head
They still should not alienate their gamer audience, which a presentation like that does. (and I still think Wii Fit is really stupid)
BTW, all of you that insist on bashing the PS3 and 360 for having good graphics and not being any fun, you're kinda sounding like idiots. Good graphics have nothing to do with gameplay. Also just because it has waggle doesn't mean it's good gameplay, arguing this point seems like some Wii gamers have actually convinced themselves that EVERY Wii game is good, but don't worry, now that Wii has officially attracted third parties you will get an unbelievable amount of shite, just like the PS2 did last gen. You can argue this all you want but: from metacritic
This is some of what the big dog gets, I for one especially enjoyed Knight Rider 2, I felt it was a solid follow up to the original ;)
I never said that this is a majority, don't try to put words in my post.
I think it's a great time to be a Nintendo fan. Getting back on top, people saying good things about the system in the Media. Third party suport we haven't seen in forever.
Everything the Wii is offering is way better then what they had five years ago. I don't feel forgoten. I'm happy to be part of the Wii.
I'm sick of this "Hardcore" crap. I love games. I love Nintendo. So now I'm not as much of a gamer as someone with an Xbox? They've only been here for 6 years. Nintendo's been doing this since the 80's. I wish people would just drop that whole arguement. In fact, I've seen a bunch of people who need to stop fighting over this. My God, their games. Don't fight about them, fight IN them!
I am Daemon. I am the Word.

Yes but it's unlikely that the Nintendo stock would shift that much from now until Christmas. If I bought the stock 2 years ago yes, but I would likely not make a dime right now cause Nintendo is at a high. Yes there is a chance of fraud but usually for the buyer and not the seller. This is not always the case but most of the time it is. Just check the money and bring a friend or 2. It's just that I will be kicking myself come Christmas when people are scrambling like mad to get a Wii. Remember, Galaxy and SSMB are out that month so there is going to be a lot of desperate people. Demand is a given. I am looking at making at least 100 dollars per system. Maybe more.
You might be right. It's just not for me I guess.
