 But that wasn't what we were discussing was it? We were discussing if Nintendo had abended the core gamer, or more precisly the Nintendo fan. Has they? I mean they are providing just those series we, Nintendo fans, love. Last time they entered the market with Pikmin, what did they get questions about? Ohh will you make a new Mario? Yes Nintendo is feeding us with the old same franchises but you might have missed that it is what we Nintendo fans wants.

Disaster, is the first new franshises this gen (can we count excite truck?), will we get more? Who knows? But you and your friends in the sony camp seems to miss that this is what the hardcore gamers wants, sequals, and it is not only Nintendo. When I have been talking about that Nintendo already won Japan, I used to get that wait for game X. That game X has so far not been a new franshises mostly we are talking about MGS4 and FFXIII, don't get me started on the hype for KZ2. So what is the difference? Nintendo is feading us, the gamecube owners (the nintendos hardcore fans), exactly what we want. Just as the other companies is doing, what is going to save the xbox360 against Wii? GTA4 and Halo 3. Two sequals for two series that got a huge fanbase, so what is the difference?

So what exactly is the meaning of your post that seems to be more of a flame bait than an argument, we hardcore players is buying sequals all the time.

Finaly if you are building your statement that Nintendo isn't developing any new franchises this gen on E3, what exactly is Microsoft doing? Because the showed ONE game that wasn't for 2007 and that was RE5.

If you can make something that isn't a fanboy attack on my statments above I will be very happy, thanks.

Thanks for that list RolStoppable, it really shows what people like us are trying to explain to people that believe Nintendo is abandoning their fans. But as ckmlb showed, there are plenty of people who just don't want to understand.

Their are a lot of new franchises on PS3 and if you know something of Playstation and the Nes and Snes you know that every Final Fantasy is different.

In fact they could give every game a new name (withouth the Final Fantasy) and people would not notice it.

Hmm I did not saw whole the MS conference but they have also a lot of new franchises created and will be released soon.

Bioshock, Mass Effect, Kameo, Viva Pinata, Gears Of Wars, Condemned and more...


In fact I don't care if a game haves a sequel and sometimes I don't care when it haves a third one like Crash Bandicoot, Jax and Daxter, Ratchet And Clank and when I heard when those developpers make a new Jax and Daxter and R&C I was dissapointed but then I heard they make new franchises like Resistance and Uncharted and I was happy about that.

I loved Mario when on the first Nintendo Consoles till GC. Then I had enough of Mario and the same with Zelda and Metroid.

And I can tell you that I HOPE that MGS4 is the last one I only will play this game to know whole the story and that because I am MGS tired. I didn't like MEtal gear before Playstation Loved MGS 1,2 and with three I got little tired and now I am very tired of it.

I didn't even touch the surface of the GBA games, but there are too many new IPs in there to type anyway. Man what would we ever do if Nintendo made something new? I find it hilarious that this argument can be disproven hundreds of times and fanboys don't learn a thing. It's like your brain is immune to new ideas.

So every FF is different? Well I think every Mario game is different, so what is you point. I mena Nintendo could just have pulled in a new characters into any of those games and no one would have noticed. HEck you could have pulled in any new character in Killzone 2 and no one would have noticed. That isn't the fucking point, we hardcore gamers follow sequals because sequals often stands for some type of quality. If your are this big Nintendo fan and don't like what they are doing, uy another consol and stop crying. Because at least this core gamer like what I see.

I also would like to state that my point was that we doesn't know what neither Nintendo nor Microsoft is giving us next year. Do we get any new franshises? Who knows the only thing I know is that they stated that they are doing a game that will come with the Zapper, I know that Disaster is coming and I know that H.A.M.M.E.R was cancelled. I heard rumor that pikmin 3 is coming. What more I don't know, but I know one thing and that is JUST BECAUSE YOU IS TIRED OF MARIO DOESN'T MEAN THAT NINTENDO HAVE ABENDED SUPPORT FOR THE CORE GAMERS. Get it? I mean if you don't like what Nintendo is doing buy a PS3 or a xbox360 buy all this new franchises that you want and stop flaiming every fucking thread about Nintendo. Do you see me jumping into PS3 threads and derail it? Or do I try to keep myself to the topic?
