calm down xbox fans i know ur happy, that ur console has sold alot in japan, but next week it will be back to normal every console beating the xbox 360. 

but hell why not, praise ur console for the hardware sales, at least for now LOL just kidding

yeh its only a week or two but still sony needs a price cut in japan.

Well it will be above PS3 and PS2 at least 2 more weeks I think.

And at best it could manage it for 5 weeks.

Generally the weeks just follow on from each other with slight increases/decreases for each console (like "others" the past few weeks) something like this makes the sales more interesting.

This is par for the course. Xbox fans overexcited, other fans undermining.

Regardless, many weren't expecting the 360 to ever surpass the sales of the Wii in Japan. I certainly wasn't.

Its always exciting when something slightly unexpected happens

Pretty sure it's going to hang on as #2 through the holiday season in North America.

Europe is the big question mark, and I'm excited to see the price drop data!

Japan is too hard to call.


At any rate, PS3 is being pushed into 3rd place for a loooong time to come, possibly forever.
