If Halo 3 would be ported to wii, how much it could sell?

Wii is definitely lacking at fps-games, so I am really curious about how many wii-owners would buy a great fps like halo. Asssuming that it would have been remade to wii with waggle and ir-aiming.

I'd say at most three million copies, not more. There are too less hardcore gamers.

Well if merchants would actually enforce the Mature rating (17 years old +) I would have to say zero.

That's a hell of a hypothetical, since the combination of Halo's popularity and marketing push would be enough to result in a Wii demographics shift. So, a lot.

500,000. Halo 3 is an old game whose popularity is attached to a certain brand. It won't even do well on ps3 either.

I think it would get decent sales, 2-3m range. I wouldn't be interested though. However, if it were Perfect Dark Zero ported over with Wii controls.. then we're talking.

Why is that? Pdz is not a very good game.

Halo Combat Evolved would sell more. I would wait for that to happen first before Halo 3 comes to the Wii. Both would hypothetically sell a lott.

I don't think it would sell much, I think not a million seller.

1) The most vivid Halo fans already bought a 360 to play this game.
2) The core game isn't really that good (IMO), downgraded graphics and weaker online, would be less appealing.
3) Relatively a lot of casual gamers not interested that much in FPS gaming. Current Wii users mostly buy party games and Nintendo published games. The more hardcore Wii FPS gamers probably own a more capable secondary (/primary) console or a PC for playing FPS games.
