Which current generation console has the best controller?

Xbox 360?  Ergonomically my favorite

PS3? Decent controller dont like analog sticks placement but has limited motion control

WII? Revoltionary and probably the reason why the WII is selling so well but is it Gimicky

I am on a MS board so you can guess my vote.  360 I can play for hours starit and my hands feel great I think its the ebst tradtional controller to date

Why post this is the Microsoft forum? This is aimed at fans of all three consoles.

Im now afraid to say the PS3 controller is the best because 360 fans will say....

I hate the 360's controller because it's so cheaply made. The biggest issue I have is that the thumb sticks are not very precise at all. Assuming the PS3's dualshock 3 is as good as the dualshock 2 in terms of quality, I'd say:

Xbox 360 controller is lower quality but otherwise about equivalent to the PS3

Wii controller is far better than the other two for some things (such as first person shooters) but not as good for other things (such as racers/fighters). For Wii racing games, I typically use the wavebird, which is much better than the 360 controller for fighters (it has a good d-pad). 

Still, if I could use one of my 360 controllers for smash brothers or Mario Kart, I would.  Because we don't have enough wavebirds ;)

Thought about that but which forum would be the one to post it in Games? Sales? so just picked one.

I actually like the Wii-Remote and Nuchunk because the 360 controls has an odd D-pad and doesn't seem much different from the original Xbox's second model controller.

Thats a valid opinion once they added the rumble back in and they have the limited motion control you could state that and I promise I wont point at you and stuff!

I have big hands so the Sony controller sticks close togther bother me

why isn't this in the general gaming section?

Anyway... the 360 controller's a bit wide for me, Wii controllers' battery life pisses me off. PS3's controller just feels natural in my hand, maybe just b/c I've had my PS2 so long.

This just looks like a thread just begging for a flame war to start. Not touching it. Not even with a 10 foot wiimote.

Look I graduated college 18 years ago and dont need an english teacher correcting my grammer and spelling, you got the jist of the post.  You could have left out the first sentence and just posted the second.  

I would think from sales alone people would say the WII controller
