could be under my TV. Depending what all my friends get. I will most likely get PS4 (depending on price), so we'll see how it goes. In 2011/2012 i'll be 19/20 so basically i'll be busy with post-secondary school.

I suspect that the XBox successor won't have a built-in optical drive at all: new games will be download-only. They might offer an external DVD drive for backward-compatibility, though.

It depends. Broadband penetration is getting higher and higher, especially among the existing 360 fanbase. The US, where Microsoft is based, actually lags behind much of the rest of the market in this regard, but is also growing faster than anticipated even two years ago. If Microsoft times this well, they can be in well before their competitors think it's even possible.
