Well I never said it would happen anytime soon. I think that the lifetime sales of the PS3 and 360 will be about equal in NA.

So far it looks like the 360 is a lock for 2nd in the states with the ps3 staying at third.

We won't know for sure until the main SKU (with HDD) hits 199$. If it doesn't experiment a proper acceleration it'll be up for grabs.

Its pretty much a lock for the 360 to win NA unless the ps3 gets  massive Wii type consistent sales boost, if it happends probly late in the game when the ps3 reaches a mass market price, by then we will be talking PS4 XBOX720

Yes, Ps3 would have to sell Wii like levels for over a year to catch up, as of right now both are identical, PS3 outsells 360 by no more than 100k a month max, and a lot of times they are dead even (like this month). Even being generous and saying Ps3 outsells 360 by 250k a week it will take 28 months to tie. Even 100k a month is being generous, at that rate it would take nearly 6 years.

I dont think anyone has thought the PS3 would overtake the 360 in North America for the last few months...even when the PS3 has outsold the 360, its only been by a few thousand, and the 360 always seems to drag itself back (like this month for example)

So a lot? *Slap* A little?

Ahh ima take a screenshot of this and laugh at all you who think the 360 still stands a chance.

jeez one month of the 360 winning by 10k and its all over for the ps3.

1) The difference is only 6.5 mln.
2) PS2 sold around 50 mln. in NA alone.
3) PS3 is not even at 299$ price yet, neither 199$.
4) Games like FFXIII, KZ2, GoW3, GT5, HR, FFXIIIv are yet to come.
5) MGS4 alone helped PS3 to outsell x360 in NA for 2 months and 3rd month did almost on pair even against 299$ 20GB x360 model.

Hmm.. did i missed something? Oh yeah, x360 sales increased ONLY by 100% after getting 199$-299$ price. It`s like 100k per week. What is that?

So far, PS3 is less then 2 years on the market, of it`s 8 years(atleast) life.
