Small resolution-wise, or were they chopped up?

On the right, there will eventually be streams and downloads of all three; subscription wins you higher resolution.

Reality has a Nintendo bias.

Sony Conference, for sure, was the best conference
But Sony was the one that needed the more too !

I aggry that this E3 could have been better

Time to Work !

Sony wasn't perfect because Home is interesting, but sounds like a gay and nerd The Sims, heh, but the rest was excellent... many interesting games such as MGS4, LittleBigPlanet, RE5, Gran Turismo 5, Killzone 2, Unreal Tournament 3, Star Wars: Battlefront, Echochrome, Warhawk, WipeOut etc. And I love Chewbacca! =D

Nintendo should have talked more about online games and the 3rd-party exclusives, but the line-up Mario Galaxy + Mario Kart Wii + MP3: Corruption + Smash Bros. Brawl, and RE Umbrella Chronicles, Dragon Quest, Wii Fit (very cool!) etc. interested me. And I love Reggie. =D

About Microsoft, some exclusive games are very nice, Halo 3 is a great promise, Xbox Live is really deep, Viva Piñata 2 seems to be very good... but... there wasn't surprises, 'hot news' or things like that. They talked about a lot of numbers and a lack of games.

It sounds good when you say "For the People", but what you really want is... a stronger army than the Knights, and the evil power to control the people.

(Ramza Beoulve, Final Fantasy Tactics)

1. Sony
2. Microsoft
3. Nintendo

Seriously, Nintendo's conference was boring... I HATED that stupid fucking Metroid Prime 3 trailer with the gay music and the idiotic "innovative control" showoffy crap with that guy and that woman... and believe me, I'm a huge Metroid fan (Apologies for the language, but I hated it to that extent). Then, we have Mario, which I'm not interested into since I'm not a fan of jumping on turtles, and Brawl, which was pretty dull, at least in my opinion. I found the Halo 3 trailer to be pretty dramatic... at least the intro and music of it. As for Sony, everything was great... the games went past my expectations (Killzone 2) and sparked my interest into the system.

Around the Network

Depends, Nintendo's announcements didn't appeal that much to me, but I can see it being more exciting for a more casual gamers. Interesting Wii games from Nintendo, but unless I'm playing with a group of people, few of the Wii games interested me that much, but I am excited for the December (it is December?) launch of SSBB.

That said, I liked Sony's conference because they showed a whole lot of games, which is something it badly needs. I also liked Home too as they started to show more of it when it comes to developers making their own areas as well as finially showing one of the network changes that'll come with Home, which is getting some people together and jumping into a game at the same time (as shown through Motorstorm and terrible driving!).

So maybe depending on a casual vs hardcore interest, Sony or Nintendo came in first, but I think we're all agreeing that Microsoft didn't do a good job.

I found it really funny how the person wearing the Chewie outfit tried to act like Chewie till he/she began to walk off stage, then it was like a perfect stance by standing up perfectly straight and walking out. That was kind of funny to me.

As they played dramatic Star Wars music for a few seconds before cutting it off haha.

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

1) Nintendo

Simply put... they brought the new peripherals.
As much as everyone went... "damnit" when the last game was WiiFit...
Who here didn't at least want to try the thing?
I will buy it, because I'm curious.
I bet 1/4 of the Wii owners will buy it.
This game may not be RE5, or MGS4,
But don't doubt for a second you won't see this on the news everywhere, especially when it comes out. If they sell it for $50, you can almost guarantee 3 million sold worldwide.
This is what makes Nintendo different. And for that innovation, they have convinced me that they will be #1 all throughout 2008 as well.

The Games... WHAT GAMES?
Sad that they only gave a glimpse of one other new game.
If it stays on its intended projected release date of 1st Qtr. 2008, then that will be great.
We will hopefully see a better presentation of games at the TGS to gear us up for 2008.
They failed to bring the thunder, and I can only hope they have some surprises behind closed doors ala Smash Bros last year.

2) Sony
I wanted them to win this... I really did.
They just were... I dunno...

PSP Lite... nice... nothing much else to say except I won't buy a new one.
Will you shell out for a new one?
If I didn't own one, I would buy it, but I do not know if the general public will see any difference.

Home... so I have to pay for more luxurious Spaces?
I remember this game... it was called the Sims
The cell phone stuff was neat... Nice feature.
I'm sure some users will use it, others wont remember it.

The Games
These are the same games we have seen. They will be great, and they will look fantastic. And if you like FPS games, you will snatch up every one.
If you don't... you didn't see much there.
MGS4 is MGS4.
Then what?

This is why they did not win. With the lackluster Ninty conference, Sony could have knocked it out of the park... Who likes Ninty montages?
No one!
But Sony again seemed to drop the ball.
They only win second because they showed some great looking but unmemorable games.
(The puzzle game was pretty cool)

3) Microsoft
Kotaku said it best
HALO 3 XBOX 360 Special Edition announced!!! "crickets"
Wow... as bad as Sony is doing sales wise, MS should have brought its A game, and they got to go first.

And then... then nothing.
RE5? Its on PS3, with the same clip.
HALO 3? Looked like HALO.
It's already sold.

All in all.
It was a bad E3 conference wise.
I'm curious how the rest of the show will be.

Call me Mr. Negativity

Predictions For Last Full Week of Sales in 2010)

WII - 80.35 Million

360 - 43.88 Million

PS3 - 41.40 Million

More terrible predictions coming Jan. 2011!!!

One of the things I didn't really think was that amazing from Nintendo's conference was the online part. I don't think online is 100% needed for every game, but their online announcements weren't really that great, to me at least. Reggie said that people say they Nintendo is behind for online play, but then he talks about some DS games on Wi-Fi and a handful of Wii games that can be played online as trying to make up for that. It didn't really come off to me as such, just a couple of games having online play, but that's really it.

So has it been debunked or possible for SSBB to have online play? I don't remember and have no idea.
