Forums - General Discussion - What Do You Think of The September 11th Attacks?

A more pressing question is- if you had been on flight 93, would you have tried to retake the plane, or accept the inevitable in a much calmer way?

there is a documentary made funded by the public into the 9/11 attack called loose change made by american students as a result of the government with holding information to the public. very interesting watch and would recommend anyone to do so. Shows 9/11 in a whole new way.

According to the american public who funded the documentary and investigation, it was an inside insurance job as well as an excuse to go into Afghan.

Personally though, and I'm sure you didn't know this many of you guys, but G.Bush and Osama made a lot of money from it. the family have a long history in business. The whole thing sounds shady to me!

That is the single most ignorant statement I have ever heard. Osama is hiding out in the remote mountians of Pakistan, in remote villages, and the most powerful nation on the planet has a hit out on him, he must be so happy.

Also, show me one freaking instance where GWB directly profited from the 9/11 attackes , or that he and Osama did business from a reputable source (that doesn't include your keyboard).

You have shown your ignorance by these statements.

The 2004 election is one way he directly profited.  There is no way in hell 29% approval George Bush with his bad economy and toxic foreign policy would have been reelected if not for ducking blame for 9/11 then using 9/11 as a bludgon against the democrats.  The continued use of 9/11 by Republicans is beyond shameful (and it CONTINUES in their 2008 convention with the most graphic footage of 9/11 I've ever seen, there is no way anyone in good conscience should have shown that for political gain, luckily most republicans seem conscience free when it comes to self promotion and lying).

yawns. it happened 7 years ago. Get over it.

"yawns. it happened 7 years ago. Get over it."

Not until Osama Bin Laden is hung from the neck until dead. Saddam Hussein was a poor substitute.

My most anticipated games:  Whatever Hideo Kojima is going to do next, Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy Versus XIII, Gran Turismo 5, Alan Wake, Wii Sports Resort.  Cave Story Wiiware.

The death of Osama Bin Laden would not do anything or bring back the victims killed in 9/11.

BTW: There are millions of other terrorists who would take Osama Bin Laden's place.

dude, it is not ignorant, its lack of knowledge on your end. The Bush and Bin Laden families have been friends for years since they are in the same business, oil and gas. Bush is building a gas pipeline through Afghan and Bin Laden's company is constructing it. Hence when 9/11 happened no flights left the US of A other then the royally escorted Bin Laden family.

You have shown lack of knowledge in your statements.

As for Conspiracy Theories, I would have said the same about 9/11 until i watched Loose Change. rather then arguing on a thread where you won't find any answers possibly, why don't you do something more resourceful and actually go watch this All American Documentary! The people who made it had no reason to believe in conspiracies since they are the ones who lost out by losing friends and family. They were seeking the truth for those loved ones they lost since the US of A wouldn't allow an investigation into 9/11.

What you are doing is blindly following what the media has portrayed and we all know how accurate the media can be. You basing your retort on what the media has published shows ignorance to your ability to cross reference and educate yourself from various sources, since you chose to go with the easy option.

I won't reply again on this thread since if you are a man of your words, instead of arguing you will go out and watch the DVD and go do your homework next time.

OT though, 9/11 was horrible. Either way, many innocent people died as a consequence on both; american soil and afghan soil. Nothing good came of it other then a war and poppy farms being won. Afghan is still no-man's land as it was a before 9/11, Osama is still at large and Al'Qa'eeda still exists. However, if we really care for humanity, USA and the UK should have long ago stepped into Zimbabwe and de-throned Mugabe for the genocide that has taken place and possibly will continue. Funnily enough, no one has come to any aid apart from little half witted peace talks and empty threats. Where is affirmative action when one needs it!

In the beginning i felt really bad at that time but when i saw the documentary Loose change i have different thoughts, dont get me wrong i feel bad for all the people that died but if it is true that Us own goverment made it happen than its going to get ugly.

Who cares? Many thinks much worse have happend.
Is it possible, because it happend in the USA, it's blown out of proportion?

I'd have made one last go at being in the Mile High Club, even if I'd have had to take care of it myself . . . while standing up in the aisle singing "The Battle Hymn of the Republic".

I give this thread a 9.3.

Thank god for the disable signatures option.

You are right. Fox News, NBC, ABC, CNNN and all those Republican- Murdoch owned propaganda pay tv channels brainwash people in America.

9/11 is so blown out of proprtion.

I wonder if Congress will make 9/11 a National Mourning day in America and people get a day off work to mourn the 3000 people who were killed in the 9/11 attack?
