So which console do you think will be first to 8M in 'others' territory, 360 or PS3? 

360 at 7.52M 

PS3 at 7.09M 

360 will take 10 weeks, selling 50K a week. PS3 will take 11 weeks at 90K.

This doesn't take into account the holiday effect, which we will start to see in October. The 360 isn't having a price cut anytime soon. The PS3 will be getting a lot of official bundles coming up, including a limited edition 160GB PS3. 

I say the PS3 will just get there first, and win by a week.

How lame is this. PS3 for sure.
It's not going to be even close. Sales gap between x360 and PS3 only gets larger the closer we get into the holiday season.
