they dont think it will have splitscreen, theyd rather focus on getting the simgle player and online to be the best it can be before release. they are debating adding in a co-op mode to online though.

As it's been said, there will be no split-screen.
But are we not in the day and age where you can just bring your Wii to a friends house and do LAN? I'd much rather LAN than split-screen.

Lately, there has been talks of multi play using split screen (I will not say confirmed for fear that in the last two days, they changed their minds). The LAN part is what is not completely ironed out yet.

edit: this thread takes a lot of time to load -_-
No split screen cause that would require the Wii to work double time on the graphics (to produce 2 different views for players) and they've stated how that would not work at the moment cause they haven't been able to squeeze that kind of juice out of the Wii, the only way to do it would mean to significantly bring down the graphics but it could end up in Conduit 2.

OMG look at the White House! That's most certainly one of the best-looking structures I've seen yet on The Conduit screenshots!

Exactly what I thought when I saw it. hope the gameplay can match the controls and the graphics which are both looking like they will be amazing.
