You proved my point in this very thread. Read Garcian Smith's posts on page 2 of this thread if you need more clarification, he reads my mind. Your (imo) annoying as hell signature "PC gaming is better, always, we are legion" crap is not helping too.

Console gamers seem to fail to remember all the glitchs console games have had in the past. Patches in games can fix most glitches missed in the development/quality assurance stages and also if you look at a game like Warhawk, adds even more content that makes the game even more fun but generally isnt needed in the game to make it so greater since it was already a great game.

As you can see there has been glitches throughout gaming history. PC has the ability to fix minor/major glitches like these. Older consoles did not. Sometimes they are not but msot of the time with the ability both newer consoles and PC games get issues fixed.

I don't really hate PC gamers, I'm just jealous of their souped up computers.

i love my pc and if anybody says a bad word against it i am willing to do murder serious man. pc gaming is wicked but i can not say what is better out of pc gaming and console gaming because they both provide a diff experience for me.

i think that most console gamers hate on pc gaming because they think you have to upgrade your pc every few months to play the games and they cant afford to build a powerful enough pc to play the games maxed out.

 I absolutely agree with you one the first point. It is a growing problem with consoles and thus will eventually lead to it being used less and less as an attack against the PC gaming platform. Did you actually read my original post or just skim it?

 I remember al the glitches that exist in games. They exist in a greater extent on the PC for a variety of very good reasons (the differences of the various machines will guarantee this result). These reasons are ignored by any and all people trying to bash the PC however and thus we finally get to what I was talking about. Any problem will be blown out of proportion by someone trying to start a fkane war, and when you have people defending it who are more interested in continuing a flame war rather than actually trying to correct an actual misconception you have threads that spiral out of control and become un-readable. You may notice that this post essentially restates what I put down originally, but I think now it will have greater impact with a perfect example of the people making it worse for PC fans (like myself) to have some kind of civil discussion by over-reacting and not actually reading what is written.

I for one see it a lot. I get highly pissed off when people say that PC gaming is expensive and shit. For the first time in my life after reading responses from Ben and several other PC gamers in this thread. I completely understand why they are put down.

Most gamers fail to realize is that without a doubt you do have to keep updating your hardware to play the latest games. But that's only for super superior specs. I plan on buying a desktop soon and joining the PC gaming foray in the next couple of months. Just for the simple fact it looks interesting and there are a few games I want that I want to play on the PC (Spore, Counter Strike, BioShock, Left 4 Dead, Half-Life 2 and many more).

I never got into PC gaming like that, but I'm beginning to understand the whole discussion and seeing how console gaming is kinda overshadowing what was once the king of gaming.

People around this site just need to shut the fuck up and think before posting seriously. There are a lot of arrogant people here that sometimes say things to be asses. And to be honest its sometimes in the PC threads. I look at those threads when I see PC discussion and in the majority of threads a response in a post will always be "PC gaming is expensive they should just port the game to a console, since it offers a better wider experience. But they fail to realize that the game was A) meant to be played on PC B) cheaper and more easier to access and install C) doesn't cost as much as a freaking console game.

Ben if I was you. Just stay we PC gamers..so to speak since I am about to become one real soon. Need more people to shine light on a gaming rig that otherwise needs light again.

We soon will spark a some interest on this site. I suggest post a lot of PC news and ban those that come into a thread and say shitty things. That will stop trolling in PC discussions and that's when you will know who is mature and who isn't.

yep skimmed,

most people fail to realize that the main reason PC games have glitches on one PC versus another too is because PC developers have to make sure that the PC game can scale to a wide variety of hardware. There simpy is not a standard set of hardware that will run game X correctly. The base programming for all hardware is the same which makes it easier to standardise but there is still a major difference between a Pentium 3 and a Wolfdale based Core 2 Duo.
