don't really know what to make of this.  it doesn't seem like anybody was watching him, so how did they know he was trying to imiatate "moves" from Halo.  Sounds more like the kid mishandled a gun, which kids have done long before videogames and shot himself.  However, since he liked to play FPS (like 20+ million other people in the world) it must be because of videogames to the media.

I don't remember a move in Halo that lets you shoot yourself in your own head. Perhaps he was trying to imitate Persona?

No one saw what happened, yet they say he was trying to imitate Halo?!?!? Very sad, but why bring gaming into it?

what would be funny, but extremely not funny, is if this was all metal gear solids fault, but the media was ignorantly blaming halo3.  kid was actually trying to be like old snake, but MC gets blamed.

Ive seen numerous news brodcasts talking about nintendo or sony and showing kids playing halo. it seems thats all the footage the have of videogames sometimes.

The lengths anti video game idiots will go to in their quest to condemn gaming are truly astonishing. Take a tragic accident, caused by idiotic parents deciding that letting a kid play with a gun is a good idea, then blame it on some random game.
