i played 8 SSBB battles online and have yet to have a lag free battle....I have a high speed connection...And my Wii is close to my internet box and my laptop beside my Wii says its getting 54.0 mbps and the connection is excellent...

is my internet too slow or something?

no your internet is fine, SSBB online just sucks, i play it online too but the lag always puts me off, mario kart is the way to go for online game on the wii

Did you have trouble with other Wii connections. Because the only problem I have is with SSBB. I have had smooth games over my wireless for Strikers and Kart. I use the Internet and the other channels without a problem.

I never had problems with Medal of Honor, and I never tried MK Wii without the adapter, so I can't say. But I think SSBB requires a quicker connection because its such a fast paced game. Wireless is nice and all but the latency and ping response are too high. And for $30 its not that bad of a price. And it worked for me (anecdotal evidence FTW).



It's SSBB's online it's not too good playing with anyone.Playing with freinds is better.
