I think people are taking these systems wars way too personally. They are all just hunks of metal and plastic made by companies that only care about your money.

Agreed.

In the words of Joker:  "WHY SO SERIOUS!?"

But seriously, Nintendo, Microsoft, and Sony don't care about you, and you shouldn't care about them.  Unless you have stock in the big N, MS or SONY, why does anyone take stuff so personally.

@ LTNK

I'm gonna throw Ubisoft in your face because you did say that, and you can't take back what was said.  So, to your whole "spoiled" argument, Ubisoft.  And I don't mean only you, I mean the Wii community at large.  Ubisoft and any other third-party developer who doesn't support the console Epic comes to mind.  You guys can't dish out and take it.  As soon as someone talks ish on your console, it's an automatic four-pager thread, cuz how dare someone talk down about the Wii!

I didn't take it back. I stated I was wrong about what Ubisoft thought. You just refuse to acknowledge I admitted that weeks ago, and are trying to pretend I just did it recently.

All as an excuse to pretend I'm a Nintendo fanboy, no matter how much I praise the other systems (I still am rooting for the PSP to reach 50 million).

You just like to bash Nintendo, and anyone who defends it (not the four page whiners) is a fanboy in your eyes.

That's just as bad as the fanboys themselves, because it's the lack of reason that makes you assholes.

Or Sony Europe employs one of your parents?

"PS3 fans are the loudest and stupidest.
360 fans are the most narrow-minded and intolerant.
Nintendo fans are the whiniest and most annoying."

Totally agree

The funniest thing about PS3 fans is that every argument they can throw at other consoles, specifically the Wii, can be used by the PC  fans to show that the PS3 is just a mediocre piece of gaming hardware. OH THE IRONY!

Ok I am going to actually take the time out of my day to respond to this...

While PC as a gaming console will always out match those of a console, it is still not viable as such. There are a few reasons while PC gamers get over looked, don't get many big budget releases, and get talked down to.

1. PC gaming is an exspensive venture for the average consumer. I mean look at Crysis, you have to invest in a $1200 computer to simply run it on MEDIUM. PC gaming demands top of the line hardware and it gets rather costly. It will never be more affordable then consoles. Even if certain PC gamers know how to get cheaper fixes on their computers, the fact of the matter is that the common consumer does not.

2. Console's whole entire perpose is mostly focused on gaming. The PS3 deterres from this a bit  but in all it wants to establish itself as the ultimate Entertainment System. PC's tend to have many other tasks involved with it, keeping it from the average consumer eye. Also these other purposes mean you must also shell out somemore cash then those who simpy use their PC/console for gaming.

3. Piracy is rampant within PC gaming. Many companies found that they were not churning out any significant profit from PC games. DMC virtually made none from piracy and lack of interest on PC. Look at Spore, over 4000 people since the last time i checked have downloaded Spore for free off the internet. I am sure that number is much much higher now. This is less likely to happen on consoles.

Greatness Awaits

Also, Nintendo fanboys are usually young. They became Nintendo fanboys because when they were 7 or 8, they got their first gaming console, a NES. The games they enjoyed were Mario, Zelda, and Metroid.

Since the teen "Nintendo generation" is the prime market for internet message forums, it only makes sense that most of the trolls on this forum are teenage Sony fanboys.

These are the first games these guys played. Of course they are gonna be loyal to Nintendo. They think Nintendo eserves it. That's the very definition of bias. That's where all the Sony fans come from. They're the older people who also bought a N64, but they also had a Playstation, and a Genesis, and a Atari. Crying in every post about how they are "unfair" to you, and then making a post about how dominant your fanboy crew is.....well that's a contradiction, is it not?

Since you admit to your recent behavior, don't you believe that Nintendo fanboys deserved to be picked on? You see how they act when left to their own devices? Aren't they a little elitist? Arrogant, maybe? Trolling? Maybe we should just let em roam free.

After that I could let my little loud ass barking dog, yelp in the back yard all night and make the neighbors call the police, as well. That also would have been a good idea from the start.

I want my 5 minutes back from reading that...Just don't get boosting  "About too" People can ALWAYS boost "about too" but until it HAPPENS its just an "About too"...

The Interweb is about overreaction, this is what makes it great!

...Imagine how boring the interweb would be if everyone thought logically?

If everyone had this attitude, would the world be a better place, or a worse one?

It'd be the same. You see wives go back to their abusive husbands everyday.

How the hell does that make the Sony part not true? Is the guy claiming Nintendo fanboys are saints? If not, then that post is pointless, and just shows you as a Nintendo basher.

I didn't take it back, because I said I was wrong. And I'm not a Nintendo fanboy, no matter how much you insist (I still am rooting for the PSP to reach 50 million).

You just like to bash Nintendo, and anyone who defends it (not the four page whiners) is a fanboy in your eyes.

That's just as bas as the fanboys.

I like to bash Nintendo?

You've got me incorrect.  I like to be realistic in my posts, and not worship the Wii at every passing second.

And no, you can defend Nintendo and not be a fan, and there are lots of posters that fall into that category, but the ones who are fanboys, are, and not solely because they are Nintendo defenders.

And good you didn't take it back, cause then, in addition to looking like a whiner, you'd also be someone who has no backbone.  Good thing to stand by what you say, no matter how wrong, and it's very admirable.  Hell, I used to believe that the Wii would stop selling, and was a fad.  I said that, and I looked stupid, now it's the truth, so I got over it.

Very valid point. I got Crysis when it came came out, and played it on a month old £1000 (!) PC (close to $2000), and in some places it struggled to run it on medium! I mean it was on gorgeous 1680 x 1050 resolution, but still...
