What ever happened to letting the market do its thing naturally? I mean jeez, if you like a game, tell people you know about how you like it. But pre-advertising it before it's even out is just... well, why would you do that unless you're somehow getting paid for it?

I'm sure WarioWare will be great, but really. Nintendo's a big enough company to advertise their own games before they're out.

I guess you don't get the whole concept of what I am doing.

Many of us have fears that we may get left behind as core gamers as the casual becomes more and more profitable for Nintendo. Sure, we will get the odd really cool release here and there, but we will have months in between stellar titles. I just want to make sure that the core game gets the sales that it deserves, because we all know the casual game will sell whether we like it or not.

I'm not advertising for this one game in particular, it's more of a broad scope type of thing. If you don't want to put it in your sig, don't. I'm not forcing you.

Oh, I get what you're doing. It's just that it's more or less the embodiment of "preaching to the choir". If you want the game to sell well, advertise it by word of mouth and demonstration to people who are not on the internet.

Of course this is true. But the more people on the bandwagon, the easier it is to get the word out.
