The links work, you just need to edit the name line slightly to see the graph.  I don't see how the graphs prove anything, Forza2 was bundled with all pro consoles when Microsoft stuffed the channel late last year.  You could buy their Holiday bundle until April.  Gears2 had a massive ad campaign and was just about the only good 360 game when it came out.  Viva was bundled with 360's and has been a bargin bin price for ever, you can see Ratchet blows it away for the same length on the market.  And comparing anything but other massive games to Halo is just crazy.

Given that multiplat games always sell more on the 360 (given the larger install base and whatnot), wouldn't a more accurate recommendation to developers be: "You better think twice about making any game PS3 exclusive"?



Lol at the Tales of Vesperia one. It's only been out in Japan, and only for three weeks, and yet it's sold to around 20% of the 360's userbase there XD

 like i stated early in the thread .. if it was possible that would be fine with me, but the 360 cant comprihend the data of some games made for the ps3

plus ... ,GTA4, Assasins creed , COD4 are well in the millions mark on both consoles

DMC & soul cal are about same  these games are doing well at launch and well after

my focus is on the games with a slow start .. that could have been better off multi to start with

Comparing the internaly developed games for the 360 to the internaly developed games for the PS3 , i'd say that Sony would be less effected if all developers had a policy of multiplatform releases. Obviously with moneyhatts and publishing deals that won't be the case.

thats great and all but Hevenly Sword, Ratchet and Resistance are not "internally developed" games.

I think the same could be said (sales wise) of any non-multiplat game; for instance IF MGS4 HAD (NOT starting the MGS4 is coming to 360 thread again) gone multiplat, what do you think the sales would have been?  PLEASE, please, I'm not suggesting it is, that thread is TOTALLY worn out.

Heavenly Sword was slated for an Xbox 1 release.

Insomniac is 2nd party.

 im sure it would of added a couple more millions to the sale ! but still 360 cant handle such a game



Just because an exclusive title doesn't sell well on the Xbox360 doesn't mean it's going to sell better had it been multiplatform.

Not all exclusive titles reach success.

Just another anti-Xbox360 thread.
