My father was a millionaire defense attorney and he had very little work to do other than go in to court, smile at the jury and the judge, lay out some sob story for his client, and most of the time, my father would get his client out of the jam he was in, and then my father would go spend the vast majority of his time partying.

There are millionaire psychiatrists in the world. They sit at their desks have some housewife come into their office, write out a prescription for whatever antidepressant she's into, and send her off on her way after about five minutes while they've made a cool $500.00 for all those grueling minutes of hard work, and they prepare for the next housewife to come in when they will repeat the procedure, pocket another $500.00 plus royalties from the insurance and prescription companies for the pills they've despensed.

These are high paying jobs; however, they are not very stressful and the people that do the actual work at such offices are the secretaries and receptionists. So don't try to put forth that people with high paying jobs deserve everything they get because they are under so much stress.

If there is so little work and stress to doing these jobs, why don't you go to school and become a defence attorney and/or a psychiatrist and stop whining about the world being unfair?

What large oil company does George W. Bush completely own?

I'm getting old, plus I've killed off too many of my brain cells with drinking too much late night Jager / Chartreuse mixes and Flaming Doctor Peppers, then bouncing my head off concrete street corners as a result.

So, in other words, because you decided to spend your youth "Having Fun" while someone else decided to work hard and develop a sillset which is rare and valueable you think you're entitled to the spoils of their hard work?

I'm obviously not saying that ALL wealthy people work hard, but you had lumped them into the opposite paradigm, which is, in most cases, incorrect. Saying that my point does not apply in all circumstances does not in any way defeat my argument, as there is almost no argument or point that can apply to all circumstances. Many, many wealthy people worked very hard for their money, and you lumped them all into one group, saying they don't work hard, and this is completely unfair and biased- That was my point.

You really accomplished nothing at all with your post.

Edit: The fact that you completely overlook the huge amount of discipline and hard work it takes to do well enough in school to get into law school, go through law school, and work your way up to being a high priced lawyer, shows you have no sense of the hard work that goes into becoming successful. Your father earned his position by his hard work, drive, determination, and discipline earlier in life. Obviously his main shortcoming was passing those values on to you.

Ok, now you're just being rediculous. GWB doesn't own a single oil company, offer proof, don't put down three word (brilliant) answers to be cute.

Thanks a lot. I am now considerably dumber having read this page.

And I wasted ten minutes.

Or check out my new webcomic: http://selfcentent.com/

I'm voting for Impulsivity. Happy Squirrel must have the hots for Anne Coulter or something.
