Tell me what the benefit of using IE7 to FF3 is, and I'll give you a cookie.

Trick question!  No cookie, sorry.

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

Epiphany FTW.

The only problem i see with this is, that it's mostly going to eat away the share of Firefox, Opera and others like them more than the Internet Explorer share. Although, Google may push Chrome pretty heavily and gain some "additional" share from IE.

Well anyway, it's starting to look like M$ finds its home in the Office in the next ten years.

@Disolitude: In the browser business there's not much to gain, but you should see this as a protective measure. M$ could push its own internet search with IE (like they have done) or block Google ads with it (like the IE8 does) and cut down Googles revenue (after all, IE still is the market leader in most countries).
This is a little similar thing than Xbox or M$ "blacmailing" Asus for their eee laptop.

The browsers meaning have and still is, changing, with web 2.0, the browser is becoming more like an operating system, instead of just an window to internet. I was thinking earlier, that Nintendo could release an "online box" as Wiis successor, which would have all the important web features, but the services would be hosted by 3rd parties (actually the excact same thing as Nintendo is doing with the Wii at the moment, but apparently only testing the potential).

Ei Kiinasti.

Eikä Japanisti.

Vaan pannaan jalalla koreasti.

Nintendo games sell only on Nintendo system.

Malware?

I personally wouldn't trust google as a whole more than Microsoft, but in this case I would take IE over Googles browser any day if it meant I could surf privately.

Im reaching the conclusion that I don't trust google.

Tease.

I am curious what the endresult will be.

Looking forward to this. Wonder if it will run on there android series phones?

Google next step- Probably to make an OS imagine that google would watch every little thing u do.

^great way to get free games and accessories for PS3,360,Wii,PSP and DS. Residents of US,UK,CANADA and AUSTRALIA (It actually Works i have done it and their is testimonials with pics)

I am so resentful of the pernicious promotional practices of Google that I now look on them as a legal virus. I detest that I have to opt OUT of their damn toolbar every time I download anything and last week, it tried to refuse to let me choose Wikipedia as my search default.

They have actually become more obnoxious than Microsoft as hard as that is to believe and I want no part of any product they make.

Speaking of REALITY

I manage several websites at a large University which gives me access to web statistics. In my experience, the fans of Firefox, Mac OS, Linux  etc tend to greatly overestimate their numbers and influence on the web. Remember this is a large Medical University drawing in scientific exchange, patients, students, grad students, and the general public. It is a decent cross sample biased towards the computer literate and professional user. Here are the stats for last month representing over 419,000 unique visitors; a pretty damn statistically significant sample. You are going to be surprised, probably unpleasantly by the numbers. Just remember, don’t shoot the messenger. This is the world as it really is, not necessarily how I wish it was. And these numbers have not shown any signs of major changes in years. So though you may wish or think that Linux, Mac, Firefox etc are having a huge massive effect on the web and if you want to continue believing that, DO NOT READ THIS DATA

I really hope Sony gets with Google for an update to the PS3's web browser. Perhapps that is what has been holding back Life With Playstation. If I could get flash support on PS3 I would never touch a PC again.

Stop hate, let others live the life they were given. Everyone has their problems, and no one should have to feel ashamed for the way they were born. Be proud of who you are, encourage others to be proud of themselves. Learn, research, absorb everything around you. Nothing is meaningless, a purpose is placed on everything no matter how you perceive it. Discover how to love, and share that love with everything that you encounter. Help make existence a beautiful thing.
