I'm giving approximately the same window as you, Akuma. I suppose a 20 percent increase is possible, as is a 100, but I think the likely window is 30-60 percent increase.

On topic: This is great news for the PS3, this is the first time in a long time it's been near the prime positition on Amazon US for a long time. I see it sticking at #1 for a few more days, and staying in the top 5 for atleast the next week.

The 5 Blu Ray deal is for all PS3s everywhere till September I think, it's not just for Circuit City.

My window prediction is 50-75% increase in sales if there is no 360 price drop this week. If there is then it's 25-50% increase.

It'll be interesting how long it stays at number 1. I'd say for a few days , than in the top 5 a while after that as many people probably don't even know about the price cut yet. The real test though is a few months from now.

Also notable Resistance is the top selling PS3 game at number 30. Ninja Gaiden is 39.

This price cut needs to keep interest up only till like September, around that time all the big exclusives are gonna start rolling on the PS3, Lair, Heavenly Sword and Warhawk all coming August-September so sales will start picking up more when more exclusive games start hitting and are advertised well.

 Yes but Lumines was selling close to nothing. This jump is significant for the PS3 at least as far as Amazon sales go.

CNN and other channels have been talking about the PS3 price cut this morning I think that is informing people and generating interest.
