While a poll like this existed before, it limited user's to what games were comming out before christmas and home console games only, not handhelds, I think a list covering what games are to be comming out this generation (as we know of yet) would be a bit more interesting.

The standard format is as such, you list your games in order of 10 to 1, 10 being the most wanted and 1 being the least. If you cannot think of 10 games, then simply just start at 10 then stop where ever you feel like (i.e. 10-6 or 10-3). Here is an example and my first vote.

The list does not have to be of game you actually plan on buying, but games you want or would want if you could have them (i.e. not a console you plan to own, etc.). If it is a cross platform game please list what console you would want it for. The final tally will not only include an over all count up of points for all games irregardless of console but five special polls for each of the consoles out on the market represented here (DS, PSP, 360, PS3, Wii). Enjoy and obviously people are going to have console bias so don't let that be an issue of complaint, this is each individual's chance to voice their anticipation.

when i heard that tales was getting a sequal it jumped right to the top of my list. I contemplating getting another PS2 just for the other tales games, but i guess those couldn't be "anticipated"

The problem with this is you don't know most of the games that are going to come out this generation. If the poll was most anticipated games in the near future then it would work or something like that.

That's why you work with what you do know. The poll still works fine, and the limit of our knowledge of the generation is a given factor that everyone participating in this accepts. This is not a poll to determine who will have the biggest dick this generation but at this point in time what is most anticipated. A technicality in Semantics isn't really grounds for concern in my eyes though I do understand perfectly what you're saying.
