out of all the stores amazon gets the worst preorder bonus (my opinion). a mini digital strategy guide which if pc based will be available to anyone over p2p networks, or if locked to ps3 will likely be available on the pc as screenshots.

gamecrazy gets a burlap sack for game case storage with sackboy artwork.

gamestop/ebgames gets kratos sackboy

circuitcity gets a littlebig sticker book

and ???? bestbuy/futureshop/walmart gets a nariko sackgirl by default (hasn't been announced but are the only major stores left)

+ as always amazons chartz have little relation to whats actually happening in the market.

There are many different colors of DS on the charts though. Only one PS3.

And people may not be buying 360 right now because of forthcoming price drop.

LBP looks to be a great game and I hope it gets the success and accolades it deserves. It may not have the success that some think it will have but I do think it will sell well and have tremendous legs.

The MGS4 bundle was top of amazon for many days during july, but the ps3 never passed the Wii in the American weekly sales... So yeah, the fact that lbp is so low is meaningless

X360 = 38-39m

PS3 = 34-35m

Prediction: The PS3 will surpass the 360 on weekly sales after it drops to $299 on all regular weeks (no big releases).

I don't think its meaningless, its just one source, good assumptions just need more sources. If LBP is #1 in amazon, #1 in walmat online store, #1 in best buy online store, #1 in VGC online store...then won't you assume it will do good, right now all we can do is assumptions/guesses on how LBP can sell and in one store (Amazon) it is not doing so good as other games.
