I am happy to say I bought a WII (already own it tucked upstairs) for my kids to christmas. I have played the WII over friends house so I am pretty familiar with it I wanted to get them some games and wanted your advice.  The kids are 10 year old boy, 7 year old girl and 5 year old boy.

My thoughts were

Super Mario Galaxy (they love sunchine on there cube)

Super Smash Bros BRawl

Boom Blox

i would get mario kart for them but christmas is still way ahead

They would love (if they into football) Madden 09 All Play, great optional controls would make it easier for them, also all the party modes , plus 5 on 5. And it still retains all the modes and options of classic Madden Game so you can have fun yourseslf.

Dont forget Mario Kart, and maybe Zelda

Yah picked up the WII early didnt want to get blanked at Christmas! I am hoping some of the games will go on sale so been waiting on them. Super Mario Galaxy I am hoping will drop in price it will have been out a year in November.

I'd switch brawl for Mario kart only because of the age range. However, If they liked melee then you can't go wrong.

for sales, if you have a Sam's Club membership, brawl is $43, and kart is $45. Most games there are ~$5 under retail value. I don't think they carry boom blox though.

While Galaxy is a great game I'd go for Mario Kart instead which they can all play together (assuming you have 3 controllers....)
