Didn't see it posted, but I might have scanned too quickly; anyhow, just to be sure..

The Magic Box says: In an interview with Nomura and Toriyama from Dengeki, the two producers revealed that:

  • Final Fantasy XIII will not be released for Xbox 360 in Japan.
  • Final Fantasy Versus XIII for PS3 will be more like a traditional Final Fantasy game than FFXIII, in Versus XIII you travel across mountains, ocean, wandering in dungeons and battle with summon beasts and so on.
  • Final Fantasy Agito XIII for PSP will be released after FFXIII.

im going to buy both and i wonder when FFVXIII will be released, it must be far in production by now

I will buy both games, but I must admit I was more dissapointed to find that FFXIII was more like 12 than the rest of series than I was to find the loss of exclusivity.

I hope vXIII is very similar to X. I really like the old random battle system, and I hate how nearly all JRPG's have gone away from that. The way 12 played completly killed the games presentation for me. I love to see over the top moves, and I like them to actually be bad ass in the game. 12's overdrives were the worst things ever to happen to the series.

So yeah, well hears to hoping it is out buy 2010.

Nice to hear that about versus. This year's FFXIII news hasn't been good with the betrayal and the delays and what not.

Betrayal, lol. FF was a Ninty franchise before 'the betrayal' :P

Anyway, thanks for the info - id just planned to buy FFXIII, I shall have a look at both before i choose

Hey, just cause you betrayed two people doesn't mean the 2nd one's not a betrayal.

Although I guess this is better, since versus13 is still exclusive, and 13 is still on the PS3. Nintendo just flat out got anally impaled. Blame the cartridges, I guess.

The difference is Nintendo lost the games, rather than exclusivity.
