Forums - Gaming Discussion - Just sold my Wii

I wasn't using it at all and figured it would go into good hands somewhere. I'll buy another one down the road but I'm a very impatient gamer; if a system doesn't have a bunch of games I want to play now, it sits and collects dust. Nothing against the Wii, but there's not a lot I want to play on it and the 360 will keep my appetite satiated through the holidays. I figure I'll buy a new Wii sometime early next year, hopefully when they offer new colors.

BTW, how much does it rock that I bought a Wii 7 months ago, played the crap out of it for awhile, and then sold it for $70 less than I paid for it? That's essentially renting a console for $10/month. Kick ass.

So, let's share a moment of silence for the passing of Rocketpig's Wii. Oh, and please don't flame this f***ing thread. The Wii is a great system, just not enough games for me right now. Thank you for your time.

you noob. why . stupid. noob. sony fanboy. go away you noob.

LOL. Well...i really dont know what to say. but as long as its ok to you is ok :)

I might be in the same situation if it didn't take me almost two months to completely play through a single game anyway. :)

I don't blame you...I just hope you get one for Super Smash.

I suppose I could flame the crap outta this thread and tell about how many of my friends bought PS3s and sold them...but that was just for profit, I don't have any friends that actually want to play a PS3 hehe.

Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

I am standing upon the seashore.
A ship at my side spreads her white
sails to the morning breeze and starts
for the blue ocean.

She is an object of beauty and strength.
I stand and watch her until at length
she hangs like a speck of white cloud
just where the sea and sky come
to mingle with each other.

Then, someone at my side says;
"There, she is gone!"

"Gone where?"
Gone from my sight. That is all.
She is just as large in mast and hull
and spar as she was when she left my side
and she is just as able to bear her
load of living freight to her destined port.
Her diminished size is in me, not in her.

And just at the moment when someone
at my side says, "There, she is gone!"
There are other eyes watching her coming,
and other voices ready to take up the glad
shout;
"Here she comes!"
And that is dying.

And I'm not a poet either. I got this from internetprayers.com.

uh, ok. good for you but why feel the need to share it with us?

I sold my PSP for the same reasons, I'll probably buy another one down the road. I sold it just before the price cut and got alot back to.

Except the PSP's been out for much longer...I wish some good games would freakin come out for that thing by now....

You could've sold your Wii for full price easily, if you looked around. There are hundreds of people out there that still can't get ahold of a Wii for all it's worth and will pay full price for a used one.

I know two people who have sold their wii's. One guy just got it for Zelda, the other one won his, so it was no biggie.

Of course I sure wouldn't if I had one, but to each their own. I sold my Virtual Boy... Worst mistake I ever made.

I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.

Chrizum is the best thing to happen to the internet, Period.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!

Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.
