I think what he's trying to say is that it's not the hardware, it the name. He says that MGS series' success is entwined with the Playstation name... or something like that. Anyway, to me it sounds  like he thinks it's just the right thing to do by putting it as a ps3 exclusive. Atleast that's how it sounds to me.

I applaude the fact that even after this annoyance from the media, the crazy xbox fanboys, the possible profit to come out of it, and even FF13 going muiltiplat form, that Kojima kept his words and that the game will remain PS3 Exclusive.

You could just buy a 80GB MGS4 bundle and the MGS Essentials Collection for 30$, just saying....

 Can you read?  Sorry to be so mean about it..he CLEARLY says, if you read it - look REAL closely, it might run off the page right in front of you - “because MGS4 was optimised for the PS3 it is probably not possible”.

So, to bluntly answer your question, no.  Not to mention, if you think FFXIII is going to take a lot of discs for your precious 360, can you even imagine how many MGS4 would take for 360?  You'd be talking something like 8 CD's.

I don't blame Kojima. People need to shut up about it already. Unless Konami says other wise the game is PS3 exclusive. If you want to play it buy a PS3 otherwise stop whining about it.

Too many "gamers" on this site buy the wrong console and then bitch about not being able to play games from a competing console. Do some research before you plunk down your hard earned cash or just accept that you won't be able to play every game available without owning multiple platforms.

I also agree with Kojima, just play the fricking game and enjoy it, even if it's exclusive. Rent a PS3 if you have to, that's what I did! I could care less about Sony, but I did it for Kojima, and that made me buy a PS3. I support Konami more than I ever will support Sony, but it's on their console anyway... And I had some money lying here and there, so yeah. ^^

Putting it out directly on PC with no other versions would have been economical suicide for the game IMO. Good thing he didn't go that way lol. And I am glad that MGS4 is a PS3 game. One disc is always a good thing.

Wait, didn't the best PS1 RPGs have 3-4 discs? What's so hard about changing discs? I'll never understand this argument. o_o

I just wish people would stop talking about it period. If it happens, great. If it doesn't, there are several hundred other 360 games out there worth buying. PS3 has to have some exclusives too.
