It sucks that people have to cheat  in games online.

BTW: Mario Kart requires no skill it is pure luck. Anyone can win a race in Mario Kart.

That statement is often repeated by people that just aren't good at Mario Kart and by no one else.  If you were good at the game you would realise that it involves much less luck than you think.

The powerups are so randomly generated and it helps if you know where all the short cuts on the course tracks.

Powerups are not randomly generated, and knowing the shortcuts is pure luck?

Nintendo needs to remove all hackers time trails too.

Don't worry.

The idiots will wonder why their Wii doesn't work when nintendo bricks it :D

Powerups are not random they are granted on the basis of your position... so you can use that to your advantage and play tactically, or just race the hell out of it and win anyway like myself and even more so RolStoppable do.

And I fail to see how short cuts are based on luck?.... many shortcuts are in fact useless without a mushroom anyway, so those who race in first don't get to use them.

The part I highlighted in blue is actually true... almost anyone can win a race in Mario Kart (believe me some people take 5 minutes to do a lap, so they won't win a race any time soon) That is what makes Mario Kart fun.... there is the possibility that someone without much skill might win 1 race.... but the people with more skill will be winning more races.

Oh, so it don't mean jack when I finish a race 1st on the GP's (and losing all others)? Fuck you Lary, fuck you.

Actually, you're absolutely right.

and anyone can win a poker tourney as well...or any other game that has an element of luck in it...however, the more skilled players will do better over the long run

Well I was mainly referring to the online Vs against randomers.. but I am sure if neither myself nor Rol were there you would do much better... but as we are the hosts it will be rare neither of us plays (I do Rol the courtesy of being busy occassionally, I wish he would do the same for me so I can win a few more ... rather unfortunate I couldn't host last Tuesday when Rol also couldn't)

now, if only there existed patches for games on wii, this would have been re-solved by now...but of course there are some that dislike patches on consoles, so I guess they'll simply have to put up with things like this.
