Really now? I've thought the 360 wouldn've gotten more sales from TOV. As for TOV on the PS3, it's most likely going to happen. Just not anytime soon.

I would say there is more chance of a Wii port since the graphics aren't demanding at all, and the Wii already has the tales series established on it, and will most likely bring in more sales with less of cost and time of porting the game because of the differences between the 360 and Wii architectures are much less than that of the PS3 and 360s in terms of Cpu. Though alot of games are harder to do because of the Wii's limiting ram, but because the game would be running in 480p, and probably doesn't use too much of the 360s ram it seems to be perfectly doable on the Wii. Also the Wii seems to be the tales of console this generation seeing that the next Main Series tales will be on the WIi, along with Symphonia Dawn of the New World already being released, so there is higher chances of tales fans having a Wii than the PS3.  Either way I'm going to say it will stay 360 exclusive more than anything.

@Op OVerall ToV sold nicely with the limited instal base of the 360. I think we should wait until we see how good it sells in the West before jumping to conclusions or thinking about ports.

Offtopic, but @ sc94597's sig.. KH3 will never be a Wii exclusive, im sorry i just had to say that..

@Smashed http://www.vgchartz.com/forum/thread.php?start=0&id=26376 This thread pretty much summarizes my argument. I don't feel like arguing about that again, especially when the topic has nothing to do with it.

I think this sold a lot better in Japan than most expected. To be honest, I think Namco are thrilled with the results. Don't bet on it going to any other console, atleast not anytime soon. But personally, I don't think it ever will.

Also, @ Smashed, yes, I'm sure a video game series led by Disney won't end up on a console which fits their demographic best.

i doubt the wii can do those polygons and AA.

The game sold pretty badly even if good for a 360 game. However, I think Namco are thrilled because MS paid them. That's why we'll never see this game on any other console.

How many cups of darkness have I drank over the years? Even I don't know...

Tos: Dotnw(Wii)

Tales of Vesperia(360)

Tales of the Abyss(Ps2)

Considering that the Tales of Symphonia Dawn of the New world is far from pushing the Wii graphically, and the difference between that and vesperia isn't that much in terms of polygon count, I don't see your point. Tales of Vesperia has a cel-shaded art direction while ToS dotnw doesn't meaning there are probably even less/same amount of polygons in Vesperia because of the simplified art direction. The textures are the only thing that seems to be noticable, and seeing that the Wii will be able to pull the same textures off at a lower resolution a Wii port seems easy, and I bet there are more demanding Wii games than vesperia.(Galaxy, Corruption, etc). If downgrades are needed, which they are probably not I'm sure they would be very small and easy too do.

You know, you could always just have said this on the news story, you haven't really added anything new.

The PS3 had...a 2k increase. Nothing huge.

As for ToV...ouch, but Tales games are front loaded and ToV was on the 360. Still, this is like the first time a 360 title is in the top twenty so meh.

Wait...what?

It's attempted damage control/minimizing the positive ps3 news.

A couple thousand units is nothing to get excited about. From the looks of it, the Wii got a much bigger boost and even that is nothing to write home about.

Oh fishy, only you could so effortlessly bring up Wii sales in a thread specifically talking only about the 360 and PS3. God bless your dark soul.

OT: Nothing huge, but I guess all that hype about the lines in Japan for TOV was a little miss placed.

I own all three current consoles and a great gaming rig, now thats out of the way.

"Why post something like this when all it will get is PS3 owners blinded to reality replying? BOTH THE PS3 AND BLUE-RAY WILL NOT LAST 3 YEARS! TECHNOLOGY CHANGED TOO FAST!"

"is it Wii FIt that has sold as many as PS3's sold? Thats a LOL Look at the total sales of software is it just me that sees Nintendo titles hitting 10m+ and you say they arent making a difference? Another LOL!"

"Hell, with all the negative hype Sony spin, people just aren't interested cost is too high and to get the true HD experience (1080p, 7.1 surround) you will need a $1000+ system. THAT IS GOING TO DO IT IN A RECESSION! PS4 will not happen"

Vesperia is doing worse than I thought. I was expecting it to pass 200k LTD but that doesn't seem likely now...
