You can look at this ladder to find where you are

- Popular - Top Dog

- Jock

- Prep

i went to secondary school, here in the uk, on that ladder i would be at the bottom

Wait, I can't be a nerd and popular? I'd say I was somewhat popular yet a nerd...

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

Are you stuck in the 80's when those labels still applied?? Anyway i was the school asshole, i had a group of friends and we were liked by the popular kids but hated by everyone else lol. Never felt the need to become a jock or prep or whatever to fit in. Free thinking FTW!!!

Uh... every word on that list seems like an insult to me.

Around the Network

I was popular, but still a nerd, but an athletic one, who is kinda preppy but also punk / rocker ish

What the fuck does that make me?

My best friends were really popular.

As such a bunch of people would freakin bug me and try and be my friend to get an "in" when I felt I already had too many friends and just wanted to be left alone during school hours.

I was unpopular from Kindergarten to 10th grade because I was an asshole. Then my junior year - BAM - everybody loved me because I was an asshole.

I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.

Nerd, kind of popular (depended on who you ask and when). During lunch I played Magic: the Gathering with friends and I was pretty low on the totem pole but whatever. To the jocks/cheerleaders that had half a brain I was alright with them and we'd always have fun in the AP classes.

Oh, and I was a band nerd too but our band was also more popular than the football team. Our football team held three records-- most points scored against them in a season, more yards lost in a season (I think that was it, something with yards), and most consecutive games lost. Even though I grew up in a redneck football town that you would think Varsity Blues was based on by the way they acted, football players didn't actually get a lot of respect inside the school.

Also, skaters are not middle ground. They are about a half step up from goths.

See Fast Times at Ridgemont High. In 1979 I was Judge Reinhold.
