Forums - Gaming Discussion - Gamecube Multidisks on Wii?

There are a lot of people experiencing video games and/or a Nintendo console for the first time.

There are also many great Gamecube games out there to be played that they may never get a chance to play unless they look through the pre-owned section of game stores as they are certainly not going to come to the VC.

Maybe Nintendo and other companies could re-release some of there games but at a budget price and with 2 or 3 games on one Wii sized disk (if they will fit, I'm not sure what the capacity on GC Vs Wii disks is)

They could still be in a Wii labelled box but be called 'Gamecube classics for Wii'

That is a very good idea but I doubt they would do it.

GC discs have a 1.5 GB capacity, while Wii Optical Discs can have up to 9 GB.

EDIT: err What he said... ----^ ^

Gamecube disk capacity is about 1.5 GB, and Double Layer DVD is 9 GB, so you could potentially fit 6 GC games on a single Wii disk.

Yeah it would be nice to have a Metroid Prime 1 and 2 re-released for Wii in one set.

That would be awesome!

even better, since its running on the Wii operating system, they could put in some simple motion controls! Wooo woooooo

Metroid Prime 1 & 2 Wiimake would be better. Ramp up the textures a bit, improve the shader quality. Add the Wiimote controls. @ 25$ it would make a million seller.

Heeeeyyyy!!!! <Snap>
