IGN gave it an 8.8 (The important versions)

which are the important versions?

The 360 and PS3 versions. Because many people who own those consoles only play Madden and NCAA. (05,06,07,08=4*2=attach rate)

Thats true, but I'd not discredit the Wii version, as apparently there are some major new things added into a game, like the drawing of the routes on the fly, which is pretty badass if you think about it. I also think it was foolish to release the game so soon after NCAA 09.

Yea, Call your shots is probably the uber feature that destroys the ps3/360 versions :P but the trick is the 360/ps3 versions will always be better then wii version in terms of core features because the majority of people buying madden will be on the 360/ps3

Wish they made a sports game that would be 3-4 years in development and just add roster updates or patches to add new features.

Above I'm a proud Gran Turismo fan, not a Sony fanboy, and now a proud 360 owner, but sharing xbox live accts ATM

End of 2009 Predictions (made Jan 1, 2009): My predictions were pretty accurate, the 360 was over and the Wii was just under.

Wii: 65 mil (yea I'm crazy) 360: 35 mil (its getting there) PS3: 30 mil (the slim better do well)

End of 2010 Predictions (made Jan 7, 2010):

Wii: 81 mil  360: 47 mil PS3: 45 mil

IGN gave the wii version a 8.6 which is pretty good and say everything has improved from the awful 08 version of the wii.

I was a sucker who bought the wii 08 version. I promised myself I wouldn't be fooled again and I am refusing to purchase this years game.

This is my signature.

True, but if All -Play is as good as they tout, it might get the casuals into it too. After all, there are more people in the US that watch football than play videogames. The numbers pan out someplace. It's just a matter of the casuals getting to play it. The big issue with reaching casuals is getting the game in front of them to play. They'd probnably buy a lot more than they do if they were made aware of the games coming out.

I just picked up the 360 version a few hours ago but it's been sitting on my couch, unopened, since I got home. I guess making beef jerky is a priority that I hold higher right now.

AceRock owns one PS3, one PS Vita, and one PS4.

I havent bought a madden since the n64 days, maybe its time to buy a new one... the bundle with head coach seems interesting

But then they would make less money.

I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.

411mania.com gave it 8.5
